Good morning skiers and snowboarders.

The day starts off mild, with temperatures near 50 degrees this morning with strong winds and gradually cooling as the day goes on. It will be a wet day on the mountain, making it a great opportunity to test out that waterproof gear. Expect softer, more forgiving turns early, with the surface beginning to firm up as temperatures trend downward and conditions ease through the afternoon.

Most of the mountain has been left ungroomed, so be sure to keep an eye out for variable terrain as you make your way around.

Lifts F (Westside Six) and E (Wooly Bear Carpet) are spinning today, providing access to open terrain across the mountain.

We are beginning our build on Wilbur Park, with shaping underway as the crew looks ahead to a busy weekend. Wilbur Park will also host its first event on Sunday, Ignite the Light, so be sure to stop by, work on your park progression, and check out what the team has been building.

As temperatures drop again tonight, snowmaking will resume overnight, helping refresh coverage heading into the weekend. We’re looking ahead to opening Why Not on Saturday, and Tubing is also scheduled to open Saturday.

We’re looking forward to a cooler weekend ahead, with a real buzz in the air across the mountain.
