To our friends in the media,
Let’s face it – 2020 isn’t what we expected. The normalcy of everyday life that we have been accustomed to has been altered, and we’re adapting to an evolving situation daily. We’re no stranger to this reality here at Windham Mountain either, and we’ve been hard at work to change the things we need to change. There is one thing, however, that we can’t seem to change no matter how hard we try.
That thing? Passion. Now more than ever, our passion for the mountains has never been so evident. In a time where social distancing and isolation are the norm, our shared love for the alpine environment binds us together, even if we are apart physically. With the global pandemic of Covid-19, everyday life has been altered in order to safely navigate an uncertain future. While things may feel a little different this year, one aspect that has not changed is our shared desire for answering the call to the mountains.
The 20/21 winter season will be approached strategically with guest and employee well-being as the driving force. With daily operations being adjusted in order to facilitate a safe environment for all, the experience of Windham Mountain may be different than years prior, but the memories created will be similar. With changes to many aspects of the guest experience this season, we strongly recommend all visitors to reference our Covid-19 Operational Page for the latest updates.
Here at Windham Mountain, we don’t just talk the talk – we walk the walk. We live for what we do, and we want to share our passion with you. When you’re ready to find your land in the sky, Above and Beyond, just give us a call – we’ll see you up there. Socially distant, of course.
Best Regards,
Dan Toth
