Windham Mountain and the Adaptive Sports Foundation have partnered to bring the SkyTechSport Simulator to Windham Mountain. The SkyTechSport Simulator provides real skiing and riding in virtual reality. The cutting-edge technology reproduces the exact sensation of going down the slope.
The simulator caters to a wide spectrum of clients; children, beginners, advance skiers and riders, and racers. From being able to experience World Cup & Olympic courses from around the world to the 100 turn challenge, the simulator is fun for all ages and abilities.
10 minute simulator sessions are $20 each, and portion of each use fee benefits the Adaptive Sports Foundation. The ski and ride simulator is located just off the patio in the base area at Windham Mountain and is open daily. A new equipment valet and quick tune up station is in the same building. Nearby, is a brand new 33-foot diameter European-inspired “Umbrella Bar” with room for 125 guests in enclosed, heated comfort.
The Adaptive Sports Foundation (ASF) is a nonprofit organization that empowers live through adaptive sports and is based at Windham Mountain. Since 1984, the ASF has been providing profound and life changing experiences for children and adult with physical and cognitive disabilities and chronic illnesses through outdoor physical activity, education, support and community.
