Parents must remain on the property while children are in the care of the Children’s Learning Center. Parents or guardians leaving children in the care of the Children’s Learning Center should not do so if the child has exhibited symptoms of illness. A child who is unusually tired or shows symptoms of flu, cold, or other communicable illnesses should be kept at home.

Recently ill children must be fever-free without medication, and free of vomiting, diarrhea, excessive mucus, unexplained rash, blisters, or hives, draining from eyes or ears for a minimum of 24 hours before enrolling at the Children’s Learning Center. Children being treated with antibiotics should be on the medication for a minimum of 24 hours before participating in CLC activities.

In particular, if your child has not been vaccinated against Measles, or if there is any chance of recent exposure to Measles or other serious communicable illness, they should not enroll in the Children’s Learning Center. This is for the health and safety of our staff and other children attending our programs.

Every week at the Children’s Learning Center, we decorate the space around a different theme. It’s a lot of fun for the kids and certainly makes things look festive! Here are the themes we’ll be working on this winter:
